Sherisa McDonald, M.A., T.L.L.P., received her Master’s degree from the Michigan School of Psychology and is currently working towards the goal of obtaining her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology. She has experience working with couples and marriage counseling, as well as, women dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, adolescents, children/adults with cognitive/physical impairments, and geriatric populations. She also has experience with psychological and guardianship testing, assessments, music therapy, and play therapy.
Sherisa utilizes a Humanistic approach that encompasses both client-centered and solution-focused resolutions. She prefers to collaborate with each client to lead the therapy towards self-fulfillment and actualization. Her practical experience and education provided her the platform to work with diverse individuals and groups of clients that battled with stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and Autism.
Sherisa believes seeking the services of a therapist emotional journey. However, she is passionate about creating a safe and respectful space that allows for clients to explore themselves and their potential.
