Jenn Zibbell is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Spring Arbor University. She is completing her counseling practicum under clinical supervision and is passionate about providing a warm, accepting environment where clients of all ages feel safe, heard, and valued.

 

She enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan and has a particular passion for supporting children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 17. She has received specialized training in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), and Sandtray Therapy. Play provides children with a developmentally appropriate way to express themselves, explore their experiences, process difficult emotions, and build resilience. She enjoys partnering with children and their families as they discover strengths, deepen self-understanding, and work toward growth and healing through the therapeutic process.

 

Before beginning her counseling career, Jenn spent more than a decade working with children, adolescents, and families in educational, recreational, and community settings. She has worked with children experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs and strives to meet each client with empathy, curiosity, and respect.

 

Jenn approaches counseling from a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered perspective. She believes every individual possesses the capacity for growth and healing and works collaboratively with clients to build on their existing strengths while helping them navigate life’s challenges. She is committed to creating an inclusive environment where each client feels accepted and empowered to move toward meaningful change.
